My parents are forcing me to volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club three days a week. Today was my second day, and I started on monday. I work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I was NOT looking forward to it, AT ALL. It was not where I wanted to spend my summer. But when I got there, Inez was handing jobs to the CIT's, and she saw a girl named Xandra, and told me to stick with Xandra. Xandra is ADORABLE. She needs extra attention cause she has a physical disability- she needs help walking. For long distances, like going down the hall, she uses a little red tricycle. For short distances, like moving around the classroom, she uses these little pink walking sticks, or she has also taken custom to using my hands. Today we had gym and while she couldn't play everything, she had fun being a dog in Wet Dog (if you don't know what that is just ask) and she was a tagger in Man From Mars (again, just ask) she is really cute. I totally underestimated the BGC.
Another good thing, is that I am getting a laptop =] It is a year old MacBook. Apparently Hall Dale is selling them for four hundred something dollars, and dad thinks it is a good use of my money, so I decided to get one. I can't wait! I will have the privacy of my own computer, and it'll be mega useful when school comes around.
On Wednesday I am leaving for a week or so. I am going camping with a friend and her family. I am so looking forward to it, but it's supposed to be rainy, so I am a little worried. But still, even if it is, me and Alexx will have fun hanging out in the tent if we must. I can't wait!

Man from mars: You have one person in the middle of the gym, and everyone else lined up against a wall. When the man from mars says a little ditty that I don't remember, everyone runes from one side of the gym to the other. The man from mars can only move on the radius line, and anyone that he manages to tag has to stay on the line and help him tag more "planets".
